Tennessee is the 36th largest by area and the 16th most populous of the 50 states. Tennessee, officially the State of Tennessee, is a state in the Southeastern region of the United States. The route itself is not particularly interesting but it is immediately blown away with the beautiful green landscape and the characteristic villages that you pass along the way. This route is a nice start to get used to the heavy Harley engines and the traffic in America. So you can choose to plan one or two extra nights. A world of outdoor adventure awaits here, great restaurants, live events, art and world-class attractions. Nestled among the mountains of Southeastern Tennessee, along the beautiful Tennessee River, Chattanooga is one of the most breathtaking cities in America. There is much to experience in Chattanooga, this city was named by the New York Times as one of the "Top 45 places to go" in the world. Upon arrival in Lynchburg we will first have lunch in one of the many restaurants on the Main Street.Īfter the tour at Jack Daniel's we continue through the typical Tennessee landscape via Winchester and Jasper to our final destination in Chattanooga, where we spend the night in the famous Chattanooga Choo Choo hotel. Īfter about 40 kilometers we take the New Highway 7 and drive via Columbia and Petersburg to Lynchburg (RP11) to visit the famous Jack Daniel's distillery (RP12) and museum. The Natchez State Parkway (RP4) follows the historic "Old Natchez Trace", a historic forest trail in the United States that extends approximately 440 miles from Nashville, Tennessee, to Natchez, Mississippi, which connects the Cumberland, Tennessee and Mississippi rivers. If you cross America then of course on a Harley and after we have picked up the bikes at Eagle Rider in Nashville we drive south via the Natchez State Parkway. Tip Before you begin the journey, make sure to take one or two days to enjoy Nashville, this city has a vibrant music and entertainment scene spread across a variety of genres and is known as the country's capital. Day 1 is a ride of approximately 340 kilometers with the highlight being a visit to the Jack Daniel's Distillery, a must for every biker and whiskey enthusiast.
